C-Pap & Sleep has been operating since 2010 and I've been involved in Sleep Medicine since 2002, having my clinical training while nursing at John Hunter Hospital and I have not left the industry.

In February 2021 I opened my new clinic on the shores of Lake MacQuaire in Mannering Park. Having out grown the previous premises the need was more room. What has evolved is a modern, spacious, serene environment with private consulting room with lake views giving a calm and relaxed atmosphere.

The new building is built with disable access provided, drop off at the door, ramp access with double French doors extra wide doorways and hallways, with access to toilets all on the one level.

A change in Sleep Apnea testing has been inspired by the changes to Medicare in November 2018. The equipment is suitable for home testing and is sophisticated to rule in or rule out Obstructive/ Central Sleep Apnea.

If you choose to have your sleep study through C-Pap & Sleep NSW you will be starting a journey of knowledge, educating and informing you in the area of sleep in particular the importance of sleep for a healthy physical and mental health life from your first consult.

If you are diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and you choose to return to C-Pap & Sleep NSW for your treatment trial of C-Pap you will have the opportunity over 3 months to experience the best outcome of quality sleep resulting in more energy and motivation throughout the days ahead. You will be educated in the field of Sleep Apnea and the importance it plays in your health.

If you choose to continue and commit to the C-Pap therapy long term your journey will be for the remainder of your healthy life and I will continue to oversee and manage this very important and complex area of your health and importantly I will continue to support you with your C-Pap equipment.

C-Pap & Sleep is a 24/7 operation. We understand that if your C-Pap equipment fails you, you will need it fixed or replaced before you go to sleep again, we aim to assist you with all your needs. All spare parts available, all different brands available.

What We Do

We follow the following process to understand, diagnose and treat your Sleep Apnea.

Identification

Working in conjunction with your GP or preferred Health Professional, we will determine if you at risk of having Sleep Apnea, and organise a sleep test.

Diagnosis

The sleep test allows us to observe your sleep patterns, assess the results and then recommend the most appropriate treatment for you.

Treatment

There are a range of treatment options available, we will discuss these with you and your Health Professional and develop an agreed action plan.

Follow Up and Support

We will have regular follow up contact to ensure that the treatment program designed has been effective.

These take place on a 3, 6, 9 and 12-month basis – and then annually.

Sleep studies can be conducted when it is convenient to you and results are available within 2 weeks of the sleep study being recorded.

Treatment trials for C-PAP therapy are conducted over a period of 4-8 weeks it takes as long as it takes to get you established on the therapy and there is no rush. This is a new experience for you and we need to take our time settling you into such a new experience. The cost is fixed at the based at a month trial regardless of how long it takes to complete the trial.
